PICEA ORI SHADOWS BROOM
Grower Notes:

Picea orientalis 'Shadow's Broom' is commonly referred to as Shadow's Broom Oriental Spruce. Discovered by renowned plantsman, Don Shadow, this broad, dwarf conifer is noteworthy for its bright green new growth in spring that quickly matures to one of the darkest, richest greens in the conifer world. Over time, this cultivar's form goes from mounded to broadly pyramidal. The center usually forms a funnel-like depression often referred to as the bird's nest.
